Day 28: Hair Tools for Cutting

     There are many tools and applicators that are used during hair cutting. I will list what they are and what how they are used.

Standard Scissors, used to cut the hair
Hair Clippers, usually used on mens hair cuts, Comes with blade guards of different sizes so you can decide the length of the hair.
A standard 6 inch comb marked with inches to measure the hair if necessary.
A razor toothed comb, razors in between the teeth. Used for thinning and adding texture to hair
Thinning scissors. These scissors have one straight side with no blade and teeth that do have a blade to thin the hair very quickly. this is something that should be done with caution because can remove a lot of thickness. If you have thin hair you do not want to do this. Clips such as these are used to section off hair and to hold it out of place while cutting or coloring different sections
The hair cape, placed on the client to afford getting hair or color on their clothes. A necessary item because the hair can get everywhere and sticks easily if the hair is damp and then becomes itchy
