Day 9: Skin Tone

    There are a variety of complexions, but all of them fall into two different skin tone categories- warm or cool. There is a great importance to knowing your skin tone and what colors look good on you. In the fashion world, skin tone is important in hair color, make-up, accessories and clothing.

Warm Skin Tones:
A yellow or golden skin undertone is a warm skin tones. Hair colors that have a warm overtone will generally look natural on this person. 

Cool Skin Tones:  
Pink or blue skin undertones fall are cool skin tones. Meaning hair colors that ave a cool overtone will generally look much more natural.


Finding Skin Tone Category: 
    The simplest way to figure out your skin tone is to look at the veins in your arm while in natural sunlight. If the color looks green you are a warm skin tones, if the color looks blue you are a cool skin tone.
