Day 6: Amber's Beauty School

Amber's Beauty School has been in business since 1936 and is still today one of the top cosmetology schools! This is where my mother attending to obtain her beauticians license and where I have been interested in attending myself. I would also like the experience of attending The Salon Proffesional Academy, But the price is much greater. Today I am going to research Amber's Beauty School and this will help make my final decision for which Beauty College to attend.

     Amber's Beauty School Pros:
  • One-on-one time with the instructor, due to smaller class sizes
  • Hands-on teaching methods to get loads of physical practice
  • Working with actual customers to help build clientele and learn to communicate with customers
  • The laid back atmosphere gives students the opportunity to learn in an distressful way
  • The tuition prices include the price for books and cosmetology kit
     Amber's Beauty School's Tuition List:

Cosmetology: $6,295
Nail Technician: $3,500
Instructor Tuition: $2,500
Enrollment Fee:  $250

     Salon and Spa Services:
The Salon and Spa services offered at Amber's Beauty School are anything in the top salons, for low prices. For example, a regular hair cut is only $6! Students preform anything from a shampoo to a color/highlight. Then in the spa department they do anything from an eyebrow waxing to a full set of acrylic nails.

This school seems like a great place to attend! My hopes are to finish cosmetology school by the time I start college, to have a part time job while I am in college. I will need to find a place I can attend beauty school that offers evening classes. More research for beauty schools will need to be done.

  1. Good to know that there are now a lot of schools that people can study cosmetology education nowadays. It wasn't that easy to find a good training center for this field 10-20 years ago.
