To become certified in Cosmetology you must Attend The Salon Professional Academy for 1500 hours (11 or 15 months) and the tuition is $13, 549. For Esthetics tuition is $8,549 and must attend for 700 hours (7 months). To be a certified Nail Technician must attend schooling for 450 hours (5 months) and tuition is $3,549.
Scholarship opportunities are available. The first step of the scholarship application is to write a two page paper explaining in detail why you want to be a part of the beauty profession. Second, have two adults(out side of the family) that know you well and can write a letter of recommendation for you. These two items must be submitted along with your latest high school transcript to The Salon Professional Academy by the deadline date. This specific scholarship will give the student $3,000 off their tuition. Also, the student must uphold an 85% or above grade point average and at least an 85% attendance at all times and must not have any suspensions. Other scholarship opportunities will be available for next year.
